Mixing
We can accommodate ANY digital mixing needs.
SCS supports the home recording revolution! We have mixed albums from other studios, home studios, old tapes, even from MP3's online! (though MP3 sucks for most purposes, so avoid at all cost!!!) Please provide info for what format you have tracked your project on.
Digital
Whether you are using a stand alone unit (boss, korg, roland, alesis, etc..) or Software (Pro Tools, Digital Performer, Cubase, Logic, etc...), the crew at SCS can mix your project.
Info we will need before the session starts include:
- total song count
- total length
- bit depth and sample rates (16 or 24 bit / 44.1k, 48k, or 88.2k, 96khz)
- track count (8, 13, 16, 20, 24, etc...)
- file type, if known (AIFF, WAV, SDII, etc...)
- also, please make sure that your files all have the same relative start time! *CRUCIAL*
Analog
Please include:
- what tape format you have (2, 8, 16, 24 tracks)
- size of reel (2", 1", 1/2", etc....)
- condition (pristine, moldy, etc...)
- age (1950's, 60's, 70's, etc...
DIY - Use SCS to mix it yourself!!!
SCS offers discounted rates for home recordists, engineers, and producers to remix their projects in a tuned control room. Or, have SCS crew's experienced ears mix the project for you.

Post Production—Film & Video
With the addition of our SONY 48 channel digital console, a 5.1 surround mix environment, and SMPTE connectivity, SCS has made available full post production possibilities for any film or video project. Final Cut Pro, Premier, & AVID compatibility. Please contact us for below answers and availability!
