Matt Greco
Matt Greco fell in love with music when he learned to play piano as a child. He continues his passion by playing keys for a local pop rock band, Scene in Stereo. In 2004, he began recording local bands and artists. By 2006, he started producing local talents Christian Burghardt and Shane Holt.
He is dedicated to working with musicians and improving the quality of music in the industry. He believes that as an engineer/producer a musical background, classical or not, is essential to making your music great. For this reason, he is at the University of Oregon as a music tech major to further his education as a musician and producer/engineer.
Over the past two years, he has worked as a recording engineer for the U of O where he has gained experience working with a multitude of instruments from Gamelans to Jazz combos. He has experience in location recording and live sound engineering. His recording experience includes: pop, rock, punk, acoustic, classical, jazz, and many other genres.
As an engineer for the Sprout City team, he offers producing, mixing, recording, composing, and mastering services. He brings his passion for music and concern for the band’s needs to every project he encounters. He enjoys mixing different genres and experimenting with new and unique sounds. Matt prides himself in his dedication to his clients, working tirelessly to achieve the sound that you are looking for.
